Founded on the 3 February 1964 with about 30 students in Form I, Muslim Girls College which is the property of Surtee Soonnee Mussulman Society has been constantly looking forward to providing the best possible educational services to the community. It can now pride itself to be equipped with good infrastructure facilities that can shoulder a population exceeding 600 girls in their studies till they complete their Higher School Certificate. With its firm belief in the strong relationship between the learning environment and students’ outcome, the school which is the property of Surtee Soonnee Mussulman Society has been striving for over 50 years to maintain a good infrastructure facility in view of supporting the educational enterprise.
MGC can boast itself as a clean, comfortable and safe environment amidst its classrooms and specialist rooms imparting the teaching of a wide array of subjects in various fields like Art, Science, Business and IT. Care is taken to provide the necessary working conditions which have recurrently proved to be positively related to students’ well-being and exam success.
